Community Trust Bank announced Jesse Jackson, a Ruston native, has joined the Bank as the Senior Vice President-External Relations. Jackson will bring his 18 years of experience in the financial services industry to the position at Community Trust Bank.
In his new role, Jackson will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Bank’s relationships with external industry partners. Although his main office will be at the Dallas Financial Center, Jackson will work across Community Trust Bank’s footprint.
Prior to joining Community Trust Bank, Jackson was a senior member sales officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, small business relationship manager for JP Morgan Chase Bank, and held marketing and consultative sales roles with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Wells Fargo, Inc., and Bank One Corporation.

Jackson holds a Master of Business Administration degree in corporate finance from the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management, and a B.S. in business marketing from Grambling State University. He is also a graduate of the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business School of Bank Management, and is a graduate of the Dallas Regional Chamber Leadership Dallas Class of 2010.
Currently a Dallas resident, Jackson is also active in the community, most recently selected to serve on the Board of Trustees of Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, where he will an ambassador for the organization.
