Community Trust Bank's Paige Oliver Graduates From Graduate School of Banking
Monroe, LA – Paige Oliver, Executive Vice President, Investor Relations and Strategic Initiatives at Community Trust Bank, was among the 160 bankers who received graduation diplomas on June 1, 2012, from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. This three-year program provides students with detailed courses covering all aspects of banking, economics, and related subjects. Students traveled from 20 states and Mexico to participate in the graduate program.
“Paige is a great asset to our organization and is an example of how Community Trust Bank leaders are continuously enhancing their knowledge and skill sets,” said Lance Hall, Regional President, Community Trust Bank.
Sponsored by 15 southern state bankers associations, in cooperation with the Division of Continuing Education at LSU, the banking school requires attendance on campus for three years, with extensive bank study assignments between sessions. During these three years, students receive 180 hours of classroom instruction, 30 hours of reviews, planned evening study, and written final examinations at the end of each session. The faculty for the program consists of bankers, business and professional leaders, and educators from all parts of the U.S.
